The Magic formula - Teach, Practice, Test

Greetings to you. I have a few tips to help you as a teacher.

1. Teach

Before you require of your students anything, even if they know it, you have teach them. In every lesson, the teacher has the room to operate freely during the "Teach" section. Use every means possible to make them understand what you want to teach. Jump on the room (please don't), bring an umbrella, dance, sing, anything that makes the class fun.

2. Practice

Practice makes permanent, never forget. And that is why it is said that repetition is the mother of all learning. Allow the students to practice what they learn. It's a low pressure moment where you get to help them and correct them as they take a shot at what you teach them. Also remember that the "Habit-loop" suggests, a habit will stick or not stick based on the feeling we get after doing the thing, so find encouraging ways to reinforce good behaviour and effort.

3. Test

The only way to ascertain if something has been truly learnt is to test. Test after every lesson, test during the beginning of the next lesson, let homeroom teachers test when you're gone, let parents test when students go home.
